Do not, I repeat, DO NOT ask me for my Facebook.  I don’t have one anymore.  Nor should you bother asking me for my AIM, MSN Messenger, Yahoo IM, or whatever else you kids these days use.  I don’t have those either.  If you ask me for my cell phone number, I will track you down and hit you over the head with a boiling-hot teapot.

That said, here’s how you CAN get a hold of me.  These are the two best methods, though not the only ones.

  • My email:  This is my personal email, so if you use this method of contact, please include who you are and how you found me in the subject title.  I’m not asking for your last name or social security number – it can be simple, such as “from a reader of Teas and Reads”.  If you don’t, I will conclude the email is spam and will delete it without opening it.  It’s better to be safe than sorry, yes?  On both our counts.
  • Goodreads:  If you are an author asking me to review your book, this is probably the most effective method of contacting me.  If you don’t have a goodreads account, then don’t worry about it; email me instead.  Or join goodreads – it’s a more worthwhile community than Facebook.  :)
